Pacific northwest native plants8/2/2023 ![]() ![]() Fruit trees can be a lot of work so our intention is to offer ones that will be successful – Figs, plums, and olives are our favorites. We have a nice selection of fruiting shrubs and trees, focusing on plants that are sure to thrive in our bio-region. In general, we start getting cool season starts in Febuary with warm season varieties following in April, depending on the weather. We carry a full selection of vegetable, and culinary and medicinal herb starts during the planting season. While our space doesn’t allow us to carry every variety of native tree, we’re happy to arrange special orders. We’re always excited to tour folks around our space, answer questions, and give advice on selecting the right plants for your particular area. ![]() We put a special focus on the medicinal properties they offer. We carry a large selection of the most common native plants, as well as our favorites that are a little harder to find. They can also provide us with an astonishing amount of food and medicine. They offer familiar food and shelter for the wild friends we share this habitat with, and they’re well adapted to our unique climate and soil conditions. The plants that surround us in the mountains, forests, river valleys, and along the coast are what roots us in this wonderful place. Working with PNW native plants is where it all starts for us.
